Dr Cheng Boon

Cheng Boon has been a consultant oncologist since 2015

Cheng started their career as a Consultant Clinical Oncologist at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust in 2015. In 2017, they took on the role of Clinical Director Specialty Medicine Alexandra Hospital at WAHT. Cheng then moved to The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust in 2019 as a Consultant Oncologist. In 2021, they began working as both a Medical Director UK at OncoDNA, the cancer theranostic company and a Consultant Oncologist at The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust.

Cheng Boon attended The University of Manchester from 2001 to 2006, where they completed a degree in Medicine (mbchb). Cheng then completed a Cyclotron Fellowship at the Royal College of Radiology, followed by Proton Beam Radiotherapy at the University of Pennsylvania. cheng concluded their education with a FRCR in Clinical Oncology from the West Midlands Clinical Oncology Training Programme.
