Mr Jonathan Hyam

With over twenty years of experience, Mr Hyam specialises in managing and treating a wide of conditions

Including cranial conditions such as Trigeminal Neuralgia, Hydrocephalus, Parkinson’s, Dystonia and Glossopharyngeal Neuralgia

His interests include Gamma Knife stereotactic radiosurgery, deep brain stimulation, cranioplastic reconstruction, and disc prolapse, as well as utilising focused ultrasound for treating tremors. With a PhD in neurosurgery from the University of Oxford and a diploma in microscopic neurosurgery from the University of Zurich’s Yasargil Neurosurgery Laboratory, Mr Hyam also serves as a specialist advisor to NICE for the British Society for Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery. He was elected as President of the Royal Society of Medicine Clinical Neurosciences Section for 2022/2023.

Mr Hyam’s expertise and contributions to the field of neurosurgery have earned him a well-deserved reputation as a top neurosurgeon. With an impressive knowledge and work experience, Mr Hyam has received numerous accolades for his work, including the Resident Prize for Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery from America’s Congress of Neurological Surgeons. His research interests focus on neurosurgery and have been published in prestigious journals such as The Lancet, Nature Reviews Neurology, and The Lancet Neurology.
